Centro Romero Adults
- Area: Rogers Park
- Issues: Help teach ESL and citizenship classes by doing individual tutoring and helping the clients.

Heartland Alliance
- Area: Uptown
- Issues: Volunteers teach ESL and play with the children, who are mostly non-English speaking and non-American, offering a unique mentoring and tutoring experience.

Chinese Mutual Aid
- Area: Uptown/Argyle
- Issues: Tutors for adults teach reading and writing, while tutors for children work in the Family Literacy Program and help children with their assignments.

Centro Romero After-school

- Issues: Tutor kids from ages 7–12. Volunteers help with homework and play games afterward.

South East Asia Center

- Issues: Help with homework and play with grade-school children in this after-school center for children of recent immigrants.
