• Issues: This individually based site requires training. Volunteers generally participate in running bingo games, ice cream parlor, physical therapy, computer tutoring, playing piano, mini-dance marathons, catholic communion, put on rehearsals of plays/musicals/etc. or just talking with residents.

Senior Connections

• Area: Evanston
• Issues: Senior connections is an individual site where volunteers are paired up with a senior. Volunteers visit the senior citizen they are matched with on a weekly basis. Volunteers may play games or sit and chat, while other volunteers will be asked to help their senior with chores or errands. This site requires training.
