Tangerine Paul Fisher sees the world from behind glasses so thick he looks like a bug-eyed alien.     This is a terrible piece of literature. The ending was just some mess that seemed to be created off the top of his (the author) head. Paul is supposed to be a great person but is dumbed down because he’s visually impaired. BUT in the book he is a hero and the fact that he is legally blind seems to be a minor details that is looked over. I’ve read only about 10 reviews and I counsels disagree more with the 5 out of 5 stars. The author tries too hard to have all these twist and it makes the whole plot(s) confusing. Speaking of which, there are like 5 different plots (Paul’s eyesight, the koi fish, the termites, the robberies, Erik and Arthur, soccer, Erik’s football dream) actually there’s 7! I’m sorry but I would give this a -5 out of 5 stars.

    This book is phenomenal. The writing, the story, the suspense, everything about it is good. My teacher made me read this for school, and I was supposed to bring home a copy, but I forgot so I bought it here. Luckily, it was right before the big plot twist. I read over 170 pages in only a few hours.

    I love this book and if your trying to decide whether your gonna get it or not take the sample and if you don't like it okay you didn't waste your money if you did like it you know that you won't waste your money.But this book is filled with a lot of figurative language, sensory details that make you feel like your in the book, hooks that keeps you reading, and so much more if you are interested with those then I suggest the book.

    I'm a 7th grade girl and it was a mandatory read at my school. I really did not like it. the beginning and middle were sooo boring. and the ending I thought was pretty bad. when I am forced to read something I usually don't like it. it is definitely meant for 12 & 13 year old boys. nothing against the author because I can't do what she does but ya, not my book...
